Think about it, it works for so many reasons:

You don't need to leave the comfort of your own home and waste time & gas. You won’t have to dig into your wallet and worry if you “took care” of this or that person. In a salon there are so many people servicing you, you never know if you have “taken care” of everyone necessary. The hours - if you need an appointment at a particular time to fit into your busy schedule. I am very flexible as I make my own hours to accommodate you and your needs.

Mom says:

Alyse has always had the dream of owning her own salon. Not just to “own” her own salon but to also have people know her for her skill and the love of making people feel beautiful. She has been in the Beauty Industry for over the past ten years. At the age of fourteen her Dad and I would drive her every Saturday morning to a salon in White Plains, NY. There she would fold towels and sweep floors, because she had to know what was going on with the latest and greatest. At the age of seventeen she started Beauty School in Yorktown, NY Junior year of High School. Through High School Alyse assisted at a salon in Mahopac, NY for two years. Needless to say, she Graduated High School with her Cosmetology License in 2002. The day she received her Cosmetology License she was given her very own chair there and started building up her clientele. After graduating High School she was presented with an award from the Somers PTA to jump start her career. Alyse chose to use the scholarship money to attend Vidal Sassoon in Santa Monica, CA for further color and cutting training. After 4 years at that salon she felt she learned all she could from there and felt like it was time to open her eyes to a new salon with new people… new people = new learning opportunities. She left there to then work at another salon in Mahopac, NY for 2 years. During that time she worked on Mondays assisting a very well known colorist in the upper east side of NYC. NYC opened her eyes to bigger things, but it was too far of a commute, so she figured it was time to move on from Mahopac and see what else was out there. So then she went to Greenwich, CT to assist a very well known Colorist, but missed doing both color and cutting. So with learning more than she ever had about color, she took her experience and applied it to her next venture. That was at a salon in Mount Kisco, NY only working there for 8 months Alyse built up such a beautiful and loyal following, that with the blessings of her friends and family she decided it was time to pursue her dream of opening her very own salon.

Now, sometimes things don’t always turn out the way you want them to, when you want them to, and Alyse is great at rolling with the punches. The current economy has not been very helpful in securing the right financing to open the dream salon. So for now, instead of her clients coming to her, she is going to her clients, in their homes. It’s the best of both worlds. She still gets to do what she loves….make people beautiful, and they get to benefit from her experience. The dream of opening her own salon is still strong but, will just have to wait a bit longer. Stay tuned.
